Our spindle gussets greatly increase the strength of the stock Toyota spindles by adding reinforcements to areas that are known for breaking. The stock Toyota spindles are known for bending and breaking when the suspension is put under a lot of force!
These heavy duty spindle gussets take it a step further compared to traditional spindle gussets. An extra thick top plate protects the upper balljoint hole (a known weak point) while the main gusset goes down the entire length of the spindle and nearly fully encloses the spindle for the ultimate in strength. Yes, you can still access your uniball or ball joint adapter! Dimple dies run down the length of the gusset to reduce weight and increase overall strength. The bottom of the gusset features an added gusset support piece for additional structural integrity.
The gusset also has a cutout at the top which retains the factory ABS wire bracket AND the factory brake line bracket. Unlike other gusset kits on the market, this one will fit with the factory 4Runner brake hard lines without needing to bend them! No need to replace them with soft lines! These gussets were designed for perfect fitment so no grinding is necessary. Simply slide into place and burn it in!
